Join award winning Flo Poets Woodzy & Y.A to create your very own piece of poetry in a drop-in session and live performance, all FREE at Around The Lake Festival.

  • Drop-in session: 1.30-2.30pm
  • Live Performance: 3-4pm

Create Your Own Poetry

You can bring some writing you have previously worked on, or you can come with an open mind and open book to create something brand new. Drop in any time between 1.30-2.30pm. You do not need to book for this session.

The session will explore…

  • Writing techniques for poetry and spoken word
  • Ideas and themes to respond to
  • Structuring your work

Live Performance

After the session, there will be a performance by Woodzy, Y.A., local poet Iffat and any participants who would like to perform.

This event is presented in Crawley at Around The Lake Festival as part of Saturday Sessions by Creative Playground.

Age Recommendation: Session for 8+, performance for all ages.
