Are you curious about our Come with Us trips but don’t know what to expect? Perhaps you have some questions about how it works. Here we demystify the experience so you’ll feel confident to book your place and ‘come with us’ to discover something new together.
What’s a Come With Us trip like?
One of Creative Playground’s core values is ‘joyful togetherness’ and we bring this to life on a Come With Us trip. We’re a friendly bunch and there’s no pressure to join in with anything you don’t feel comfortable with. We love to see new faces and everyone is welcome.
‘I was impressed with how everything was organised and well timed including travelling to and from the venue. It was so nice to travel in a small group which gave each of us a chance to get to know one another.’ Patricia (a participant on our recent trip to see Fiddler on the Roof at Regent’s Park Open Air Theatre)
Every trip will be different and unique. Have a watch of this video from our trip to the Southbank Centre to watch the Royal Philharmonic play at the Royal Festival Hall to get a sneak peek into the experience.

FAQ’s
Here are some frequently asked questions about Come with Us. If we’ve missed anything, drop us a line at [email protected], we’d be happy to answer any questions you have.
What is Come With Us?
Come With Us is a free opportunity for people who live in Crawley to experience professional live performances, art exhibitions, festivals and more on organised trips with Creative Playground.
What does it cost?
It doesn’t cost you anything, it’s completely free—tickets, travel, and food (if applicable) are all on us. All we ask if that you let us know what you thought of the event, and the trip!
How will I know where to go and how to get there?
We organise all the logistics (train times, directions etc) and will email you a full itinerary before the trip. We usually travel by train and meet at Crawley train station at a set time, from there one of our team will be with the group to guide everyone. You can just relax and enjoy the event.
What are the food arrangements?
It depends on the event, sometimes we might get lunch, another trip it might be dinner, or just some snacks. We’ll always let you know the plans beforehand and you can let us know about any allergies and/or dietary requirements.
What size of group goes?
We go in a small group of roughly 10-15 people.
How do you select the events?
Through recommendations, so if you know of a gem that you think others will enjoy let us know. Keep in mind that we programme our trips quite far in advance to allow time to plan and advertise it.
Can I bring children?
We always advertise an age guidance and give lots of information about each event, you can then judge whether it would suit a child in your party. Where there’s a strict age policy or any content that may be unsuitable for children, we’ll make this clear.
Can you support my access needs?
We include venue access information on the trip webpage. Please get in touch at [email protected] to chat about what adjustments might be needed to ensure you can participate fully and enjoy the event.
How do I book?
On each trip’s webpage there will be a link to book your free place(s) via eventbrite. Have a look at the list below and see what catches your interest.
