Free Fridays: Art with Areej

A table covered in newspaper and equipment and inks for printing. Someone is rolling ink onto a home-made lino-block with a hand-drawn face on it.

Areej Abdi is a contemporary, multidisciplinary visual artist and educator who has exhibited at the Woolwich Print Fair, National Trust and the Landmark Fair.

She has taught to a variety of age groups in local schools, colleges, libraries and in art schools. Areej believes that every person should have the opportunity to experiment and create through play, by using a variety of materials and techniques. Her desire and enthusiasm to share knowledge has led her to support SEND children.
